Create Product Categories and Add Product Category to Menu

Here’s how to create product categories in WooCommerce and display them using Elementor in a few simple steps:

1. Create Product Categories in WooCommerce

• Go to your WordPress dashboard.
• Navigate to Products → Categories.
• Fill in the category details:
  • Name: Enter the name of the category (e.g., “Clothing”).
  • Slug: This is the URL-friendly version of the name (optional).
  • Parent Category: Choose if it’s a subcategory (optional).
  • Description: Add a short description (optional).
  • Thumbnail: Upload a category image (optional).
• Click Add New Category.

2. Add Product to the Category

1. Go to Products → Add New.
2. Fill in the product details.
3. On the right side, under Product Categories, select the category you just created.
4. Publish the product.

3. Display Categories in Elementor

1. Go to Pages → Add New to create a new page or edit an existing page with Elementor.
2. Click Edit with Elementor.
3. In the Elementor panel, search for “Products” or “Product Categories.”
4. Drag and drop the Product Categories widget onto the page.
5. Customize the layout, number of categories, and style using Elementor’s settings.
6. Once you’re happy with the design, click Publish.

Your product categories will now be displayed on the page, fully customized with Elementor!
